Serving Nanaimo and Vancouver Island since 1954.
History
Archie Johnstone Plumbing & Heating Ltd. was started in 1954 by Archie Johnstone. Since then, the company has been involved in numerous projects all over British Columbia as well as other regions of Canada. After Archie retired in 1976, his son Paul Johnstone managed the company. In 1987 the company was purchased from the family by Paul.
The company has continually expanded its scope with the addition and training of the staff. AJPH does work in the industrial, commercial, institutional and residential sectors of the industry.
We have prided ourselves in our ability to stay with the times. Our latest additions are a new computer network system, which allows us to communicate and edit letters and CAD drawings with engineers by email, via our web site and an upgrade to our digitized computer driven 4 by 10 foot plasma cutting table. Our accounting system is geared to meet today’s entire job costing requirements.
AJPH has continually grown from over the years to where we now employ approximately 50 trades people and a staff of eight on a year round basis. We are capable of adapting to any situation and pride ourselves on bringing projects in on time and on budget.
We have qualified tradesmen in all areas of mechanical construction.
